This Privacy Policy explains how Haris Mehmood (sole proprietor), trading as DataQ AI ("DataQ AI," "we"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use godataq.com and the Service.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email, password, and optionally your company name and USDOT number.
  • Inspection documents you upload: roadside inspection reports and related files, which may contain driver names, vehicle information, and violation details.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record. We do not collect or store your full card details.
  • Usage data: log data, device/browser information, and how you interact with the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide the Service - analyzing violations, generating challengeability scores, citations, and draft rebuttals - and to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service.

3. AI Processing of Uploaded Documents

To generate your analysis and draft documents, the content you upload is processed by third-party AI providers (including Anthropic). Uploaded documents are processed to produce your output and are retained for 30 days, after which they are deleted.

4. Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate confidentiality obligations:

  • Vercel - website and application hosting
  • Supabase - database and authentication
  • Paddle - payment processing (merchant of record)
  • Anthropic - AI processing of submitted content to generate analysis and drafts

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers above, when required by law, or to protect our rights. We never submit your data to FMCSA on your behalf unless you are on a Done-For-You plan and have authorized us to do so.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. Uploaded documents are retained per Section 3.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including HTTPS/TLS and access controls) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure.

8. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your account data, and request deletion of uploaded documents, by contacting support@godataq.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

9. Data Location

The Service is operated for US carriers and your data may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
